Bravissimi!

Stupendous! Having seen Genesis on tour in the 70's, with Peter Gabriel, and more recently Steve Hackett's Genesis Revisited twice during his 'Foxtrot at 50' shows (which included this beautiful Selling England song), this group of talented musicians performance brougt tears to my eyes! Bravo!!

Oh I absolutely love this. Grew up in 70s England and this was it captured perfectly.

El show en Valencia estuvo magnífico...!!!

Finalmente uma versão na internet onde a flauta ganha a devida importância ao final da música ! Quase perfeita , faltou aquela nota mais esticada antes de acabar a música , mas estão de parabéns ! Até mesmo o Genesis , ao vivo , negligenciava a linda flauta usada na gravação de estudio . O bom do progressivo são os detalhes , as vezes os mínimos detalhes....

Covering the band that pioneered progressive music is impressive. What kills me is why don't these talented musicians produce their own new stuff? Parroting great musicians is cool, but show us what you can do on your own. I do.

Świetnie, że ta muzyka 50 lat po powstaniu cały czas żyje i chcą ją grać coraz młodsi ( vide gitarzysta). Nota bene jemu jedynemu brakuje wyraźnie lekkości w wykonaniu solo ( trema? ). Ogólnie- brawo i szacunek dla mego ulubionego cover bandu !!!

Too bad the drummer is playing a different song. The rest of the band is brilliant. Timing could be tighter.

I videod this at Band on the Wall, Manchester, a few months earlier, (a memorable gig) with the emphasis on Valerio’s keys. Great to see this multi camera version, particularly (for me) highlighting the great drumming of Francesco Vaccarezza. 👏👏👏

Fabuleux

As an old duffer who saw them in their prog heyday, I reckon these guys have just nailed it. Even improved on the original studio recordings, I think in two transitions - the first from the piano intro to when the band come in (which is clearly an edit in the original recording), and the second, coming out of the guitar solo into the final verse - which I've always felt sounded slightly awkward on Selling England. The keyboard player's piano intro is so nicely played too - even Steve Hackett's keyboard player, Roger King, could do no better.
